WARWICK AIKEN, III MD
Warwick (pictured right) is a retired Internal Medicine doctor in Gastonia. He served as our Senior Warden until the end of 2019.
His wife Janet is also an Internist, and recently retired. The Aikens met and got married while in Medical School in Chapel Hill in 1976. They have one son Michael.
All the Aikens enjoy singing, and are members of the Grace Chior, they would encourage anyone interested in participating to contact them. Warwick and Janet enjoy gardening and crafts and help provide altar hangings, flowers and articles needed for the worship service.
ED WERNER
Ed served as our Junior Warden on the Vestry until the end of 2020. In this position he took care of all property for our congregation.
He is married to Florence and the parents of three adult sons, David, Stephen, and Thomas.
Ed and Florence are among the founding members of Grace Anglican Church. Ed has been involved in church leadership since 1992.
Ed and Florence own a franchise restaurant and have been residents of Gastonia, NC since 1997.
HENRY AND ROSALIND THOMASON
Rosalind served as a member of our Vestry and as our secretary. She has helped with planning music for our worship and led us for many years through her gifts on the piano.
Henry served as our treasurer and has provided oversight for all of our financial dealings as a congregation.
He is a native of Gaston County, a retired (2010) cardiologist and founder of Gastonia Medical Specialty Clinic. He and his wife, Rosalind, are among the founding families of Grace Anglican Church.
Henry and Rosalind have two grown and married sons and four grandchildren, Hank (Henry IV, 2000), Dalton (2003), Sarah Grace (2005) and Kelly (2008).
