Father Jeremiah loves the collects that are in the Book of Common Prayer. So much, that he regularly makes videos explaining them! Here is a list of of his videos walking through various collects found in the 2019 Book of Common Prayer. Many of them are from the Collects of the Day, but he will be expanding into other ones as time goes on.
A collect is a simple written prayer that usually has a primary request and then a response to the fulfillment of that request. See the video to the side for a deeper explanation.
Father Jeremiah continues to work to give a reflection on each of the collects for the church year. Thus, not every category has all of the collects covered, but he is working on it!
